In your hands is Issue 45 of our journal – and our first issue of the new year.

While we were preparing this edition, the world outside felt like a celebration: bright, soft, and a little magical. We wanted to bring that feeling into these pages.

Fairy tales come in many forms: kind and enchanting, frightening and instructive. Across cultures, the realm of magic is imagined in very different ways. Sometimes it is a place where wishes come true; other times it is a space for transformation and renewal.

The same is true of visual art. For some, it is a world where anything is possible and the only limit is imagination itself. For others, every image is a mirror of the inner self – a way of revealing, translating, and making sense of what lives within.

Hello dear reader,

In your hands lies Issue 41 of our magazine – a collection woven from wonders and dreams.

Can a dream or a vision be captured on canvas? As I turn the pages, I believe the answer is yes. Perhaps we can’t fully hold onto those fleeting moments, but we can at least brush against their magic – the magic of something unreal, joyful, and sometimes even surreal.

But can dreams also be nightmares? Of course. In such moments, it feels especially right to cast them out of one’s mind and give them a home on paper. Speaking with many artists, I’ve often sensed the deeply therapeutic nature of art. This is hardly a revelation – entire fields of art therapy are built around it – but it remains one of the gentlest ways to express what lives inside us. For many, this need became the true beginning of their creative path: not for recognition, but for healing.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us and to all who take part in our shared journey.

In this edition, we’ve gathered a number of artists who work in the collage technique. At first glance, it may seem simple—cut and combine pieces from existing paintings, newspaper clippings, or materials. But if you look closer, you’ll notice that every fragment is in its rightful place, each chosen for a reason.

To me, this is a wonderful metaphor for life itself—where seemingly incompatible things come together to form a complete picture, encompassing a spectrum of emotions, events, and people. In that sense, we are all authors of our own collages: filling them with what we wish, choosing our focus, and finding harmony in the colors and balance.

Hello, dear reader,

This is the 37th issue of our magazine, and I am endlessly grateful for how our project has grown and for the many talented people it has brought together. When we first began, I was amazed to discover that the creative community – contrary to many stereotypes – is deeply supportive. Artists encourage one another, uplift one another, and inspire one another. Surrounded by such people, one cannot help but want to keep creating.

Along the way, we launched a new magazine dedicated to photography – Visual Poetry Journal. We felt that photography deserves its own space, as it is a vast world of artistry and passionate people who live within it.

Another exciting venture that continues to thrill us each time is our showcases in Times Square. Who would have thought that one day our project would appear on the most famous stage in the world? Seeing the joy and inspiration it brings makes us eager to keep moving forward.
